Look of the Day: Wet n Wild Color Icon Trio, "I'm Feeling Retro"

This is the look I wore to the free Aretha Franklin concert in Coney Island last Friday! ...I used Wet n Wild's new Color Icon trio palette called "I'm Feeling Retro" (how appropriately titled ).  As you can see, the shadows are labeled based on where they should be placed...however I was not about to put that white, glittery, chunky color on my browbone (but I used a bit to highlight my tear ducts instead)!  Nevertheless, I absolutely loved the fuchsia color, it had this awesome iridescent quality...and the aqua color was purrty too!

  1. I'm usually leery of the Wet N Wild brand but this look is amazing!

Do you have any tips for us girls who refuse to use brushes and usually opt for fingers instead?

    (no. seriously. lol)

  2. Lmao...fingers are fine...they can be great blending tools :)...but if you want more intensity, try applying the shadow with moistened fingers (remember, moistened not wet :p)!

Btw, Wet N Wild has been stepping their game up with this new 'ColorIcon' collection...though some of the colors (like the frosty white color in this palette) is a miss rather than a hit...side note: I wouldn't recommend the Wet n Wild lipstick that I used (you really have to work with it for it to look decent).

  3. Walgreens here I come this looks amazing!!!
