Look of the Day: Brown Smokey Eyes with Glowing Copper Cheeks

I love earth-toned colors, and brown is no exception.  A lot of times I use darker browns in my crease and 'outer v' to complement another color I'm wearing, or to add depth to the eyes...but sometimes I like to splash it all over my lids to create a sultry, smoked-out effect.  This is exactly what I did for this look I wore to a Harlem photo shoot back in April.

But not to be upstaged by the eyes, I added a rich copper color to my cheeks using one of my favorite blush combos, which had my cheeks glowing and making it's own statement :)

By the way, the foundation I'm wearing here is Kevyn Aucoin The Sensual Skin Enhancer (which I absolutely love)...in case you missed it, click here for the review I did on that product.

Over 12 hours later (after leaving the shoot in Harlem to go to a memorial in Brooklyn, followed by a trek to Queens)...my makeup was still pretty much in tact :)
